n-Hexane extracts of anting-anting leaves gave the best antibacterial potency with minimum inhibitory concentration and minimum bactericidal concentration value of 500 μg/mL and exhibited good biofilm degradation activity. Antibacterial and biofilm degradation assays were performed using microdilution technique with 96 well. Anting-anting leaves were extracted by maceration technique using methanol, chloroform, and n-hexane. This research aims to utilize anting-anting as antibacterial toward Streptococcus mutans and degradation of biofilm on teeth. The continuous improvement of the effectiveness of the integrated quality and environmental management is achieved by applying the PDCA methodology: planning, development, control, action. It is extremely difficult to get to “zero defects†but the first step is a systematic action plan to reduce drastically the nonconformities and the defects. In any organization which makes goods, there are concerns about the improvement of the quality through the elimination of the nonquality. This study has found that the most of the flaws in the fabric, noticed by customers, are caused by the production technology of the chenille yarns. The technology of chenille yarn, regardless of composition and properties is the same and is performed on the twisting machines. The analyzed fabrics have in their structures three types of different chenille yarns, such as: the Article A1 (viscose fiber with cotton, Nm 3500 dyed coil), the Article A2 (textured polyester, Nm 8000 dyed coil), the Article A3 (Trevira CS polyester, Nm 3000 the pre-dyed raw materials). The work is a study about the decrease of the serious defects from the fabrics such as: the deviations from quality or the high costs, discovered and seized by customers. The study about the improvement of the quality for the fabrics made of chenille yarn Based on literature studies, Acalypha indica has the capability to serve as anthelmintic, anti-inflammation, anti-bacterial, anti-cancer, anti-diabetes, anti-hyperlipidemic, anti-obesity, anti-venom, hepatoprotective, hypoxia, and wound Several pharmacological properties exhibited certain potentials based on the obtained results that came from different related studies. The links between ethnomedicinal practices and scientific studies have been discussed with a fair justification. The data was collected from online journals, magazines, and books, all of which were published in English, Malay and Indonesian. This review was performed through a systematic search related to Acalypha indica including the ethnomedicinal practices, phytochemistry and pharmacological studies around the world. This review updates related information regarding the potential therapeutic treatments and also discusses the toxicity issue of Acalypha indica. The aim of this review is to summarize the current studies on ethnomedicinal practices, phytochemistry, pharmacological studies and a potential study of Acalypha indica in different locations around the world. As this review was being conducted, most of the reports related to ethnomedicinal practices were from Asian and African regions. They consume parts of the plant for many therapeutics purposes such as anthelmintic, anti-ulcer, bronchitis, asthma, wound healing, anti-bacterial and other applications. Although this plant is a weed, Acalypha indica has been acknowledged by local people as a useful source of medicine for several therapeutic treatments. This plant is considered by most people as a weed and can easily be found in these regions. Zahidin, Nor Syahiran Saidin, Syafiqah Zulkifli, Razauden Mohamed Muhamad, Ida Idayu Ya'akob, Harisun Nur, HadiĪcalypha indica is an herbal plant that grows in wet, temperate and tropical region, primarily along the earth's equator line. (Euphorbiaceae) as traditional medicinal plant and its therapeutic potential.
